For those of you that only know me through the internet, I’m a bit of an avid eater.
Now that I’m getting older (25) I’m not quite as monstrous an eater as I once was, but I’m still pretty respectable at it. Anyway, I have two important eating challenges coming up:
1. THE TACO BELL $20 CHALLENGE
One of my friends (who is an insane eater) claims that it’s impossible for one person to eat $20 worth of Taco Bell in one sitting. Anyway, sometime soon I want to text this; I figure Grilled Stuft Burritos are the best bet, because it would only take four of those and a large soda to be right near $20. Still, it’s a tough mountain to climb, I’m sure. I’m going to shoot for $25.
2. CALLING OUT MY CO-WORKERS ON SOME WINGS
One of my co-workers and my two bosses, between the three of them, had a few pitchers of beer and 84 wings (they go on and on about how big the wings were, but it’s not like they’re going to set them on the side of my car and tip it over Flintstones style) and went on and on about how tough this was for them. So, one of my other co-workers and I have set out to beat this ourselves, and best their record with 2/3 the people. This might be going down next Monday, and I’ll try my best to have my camera on hand to document it.
Anyway, it’s time to sleep, and dream of wings.

When’s that Vegas trade show? I can almost convince myself that it’d be worth the money to visit. Oh, and help out, I guess.
Lastly, how’s the hardcore action of arena football?
Yeah, Kate is also urging me not to try it.
If I do that Vegas tradeshow, it’ll be this August - there’s one in February, but it doesn’t make sense for me to go to soon. I think there’s also one in NYC this summer too…that’d be rad if you came and helped out, dude. We could all stay in a hotel room together, and everyone could keep an eye on me and make sure I don’t gamble too much.
I still need to start that arena football book (sigh).

I recognize those eyes! Also, $20 of Taco Bell? I’m all for egging on friends who want to do foolish things that would potentially be amusing to me, and you were a champ to manage that much sushi in Osaka, but I think four “stuft” anythings is asking for trouble. Trouble in the form of ’splosions. Tacosplosions, to be specific….
