Sorry for the lack of updates recently!
I’ve been really busy getting ready for the Renegade Craft Fair. I’m hoping to have all of my displays finished tonight, but that will entail making a button display and probably painting a few monster portraits to decorate the inside and outside. I already have all the necessary bits and bobs - tables, clothing rack, chairs, this RIDICULOUS flannel-backed vinyl for the front of my tent, and to use as tablecloths, receipt book…oh and I need to make signage saying how much stuff is, and a sign-up sheet for the SEIBEI mailing list and SEIBEI NATION.
Uggh.
Oh, and I also have to get ready for a court date (what?) because I got caught speeding, and my mom and dad are going to be bitter about it when they read this or when I tell them about it, but not as bitter as I am, I assure you. That’s going down on Monday, so let’s hope it goes well.
In other, cooler news, SEIBEI NATION member Bill Keil has found a pretty sweet way to share his coupon code with everyone (BKEIL) - by making his own Reactee that people can text to get his coupon code. For those of you that haven’t heard of Reactees yet, there is a pretty good lil’ write up on them here at TCritic. Basically, they’re shirts direct you to send a particular one word text message (on the shirt) to a number (on the shirt), and the number will send an automated response determined by the shirt’s creator!
I just texted Bill’s shirt, and it is a pretty rad response. This man is a genius, and if I ever have kids, they will probably be put through college by this man’s good graces. His shirt says “Got Zombies?” and it responds:
Dang. I guess I’d better get my heat press fixed and get the IZHL back up and running, eh?
Alright. Time to mail your orders and go get some last-minute materials for these displays. Let’s do this.
